Sign up for a free ActiWAPI account and verify your email. Your 7-day WhatsApp API trial starts automatically with no credit card required. Connect a WhatsApp session by scanning the QR code in your dashboard, then send your first message via the REST API or dashboard.
ActiWAPI uses session-based WhatsApp Web connectivity — you connect your own WhatsApp number via QR scan. This is ideal for many SMB and developer use cases. Ensure your WhatsApp messaging complies with WhatsApp Terms of Service, anti-spam rules, and local regulations in India and your operating regions.
Most teams connect their first WhatsApp session and send a test API message within 10 minutes. Full production WhatsApp API integration with webhooks, contact imports, and campaign automation typically takes a few hours depending on your stack.
After 7 days, your trial subscription expires and outbound WhatsApp messaging is paused until you choose a paid plan. Your contacts, campaigns, and session configuration are retained so you can upgrade and continue without re-importing data.
We accept payments through Razorpay including UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets. All prices are in INR. Choose monthly billing or pay annually upfront with a 12-month commitment — annual discounts vary by plan and are shown on our pricing page.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from the billing page in your dashboard. Plan upgrades take effect immediately with prorated Razorpay billing. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.

You receive real-time session status via webhooks and the dashboard. Re-scan the QR code from the Sessions page to reconnect. ActiWAPI continuously monitors WhatsApp session health and alerts you to disconnections.
WhatsApp allows linked devices per account type. When connected to ActiWAPI, the linked WhatsApp session runs on our infrastructure. Review WhatsApp multi-device rules for your account to avoid conflicts with your primary phone app.
Use JWT Bearer tokens (from POST /api/auth/login) for dashboard and tenant APIs, or create API keys with the X-API-Key header for server-to-server WhatsApp integrations under /api/external. Both methods are documented in our OpenAPI Swagger spec.
Yes. Each plan includes monthly API request limits and daily WhatsApp message caps to protect deliverability. Usage meters in your dashboard show real-time consumption. Upgrade your WhatsApp API plan or purchase add-ons as you approach limits.
Yes. Register HTTPS webhook URLs for events including incoming WhatsApp messages, delivery status, session changes, and campaign updates. ActiWAPI includes retry logic, signing options, and delivery logs for reliable webhook automation.

Yes. ActiWAPI is multi-tenant with strict tenant isolation. Every database query, API call, WhatsApp session, and webhook is scoped to your business ID. API keys cannot access other tenants' data.
